Tell me why we cry

“Why are we crying? Matéo asks his mother. To this complex, but completely legitimate question, Matéo's mother offers a rich and nuanced answer. She exposes him, in a clear and yet poetic way, the many reasons - and the emotions - which provoke this typically human reaction: sadness, anger, helplessness, the feeling of loneliness, without forgetting, of course, happiness.
She reminds him that everyone cries and especially that everyone has the right to do so.
