About Us

Inspired by themes such as parties, picnics or hiding places, la fée raille creates fun and friendly objects for children, families and the home.

La fée raille is the creative project of Anne Chalifoux who, in addition to being crafty with everything fiber, screen printing and a fashion designer, is also a sewing teacher. Being very passionate about toys, she soon had children, who are still the first testers and critics of her creations.

It was in 2010 that she began the La fée raille project, after having discovered the marvellous world of screen printing. Finally! Her illustrations can come to life in small series. She also creates, in parallel, poetic universes populated by felt, embroidery and small knitted creatures.

In her fabric world, giant soft mushrooms sit alongside smiling cacti and friendly little teeth. Tents, party hats and festive garlands are adorned with images of small forest beasts. So many beautiful objects are created with the aim of stimulating the imagination on a daily basis.

All the toys are first drawn by Anne and then handprinted on natural fiber fabrics before being sewn with an impeccable finish in the workshop-boutique of La fée raille, between the mountain and Montreal's busy downtown.
